Technology fascinated me as a child, and computers already caught my interest in first grade. That curiosity has long since become a profession that is still fun today.
What I enjoy most is creating entire IT infrastructures. Networks, servers, storage, backup and firewalls each have their own job, but the real challenge is connecting them into an environment that works reliably as a whole. That has a lot in common with a craft, because at the end something of your own has been created.
What excites me in particular is the combination of logical thinking and creativity: developing standards, simplifying systems until only what is truly needed remains, and then implementing that cleanly and thoughtfully. The most rewarding projects are those where experience can be brought in while still learning something new.
Just as important to me is honest collaboration on equal footing. Anything that affects you as a client is put on the table openly, because trust isn't built by nothing ever going wrong, but by how it is handled when it does.
